I found a list of the top 258 most commonly confused Chinese characters and I thought it would be worth sharing it, because I think it can be useful for many people.

I already knew a few of them, but this list seems pretty good to me.

There are also the top beginner, intermediate, advanced 258 commonly confused characters.  so its 3 x 258. The blog you have found is a very useful resource, I refer to it occasionally.

the ones I confuse:

衷 zhong1 and 哀 ai1

享 xiang3 and 亨heng1 

 

I was going to write  率 lv4 and 率 shuai4, but haha I guess it's a 多音词, so kind of easy to confuse.
