Hi, I am new here! I have been learning Mandarin for two months. Lately, I've been listening to this song 我留在你身邊 by Eason Chan and can't seem to understand this sentence in the lyrics. I have googled the meanings of each meaning. Tai Duo = too much, Fen Rao = Turmoil/Chaos, Shi Fei = Right and Wrong. But when combined, it doesn't make sense to me. Can someone please provide a simple explanation? Thank you so much in advance! :D

When there's too much fixation on "right and wrong", arguments, gossips and conflicts arise.

For example, a person who 生是非 is a troublemaker; who 講是非 is a gossiper.
