js6426 Posted March 5, 2018 at 09:31 AM Report Share Posted March 5, 2018 at 09:31 AM Hi Hikersfamily, and welcome to the forum! In order to help people give you the best possible response, it may help if you can be a little bit more specific. For example, are you looking for family type activities? Only expat activities, or ones with Chinese people and/or language? Are you looking for day trip type things for a family, or group tour type things, or sports clubs maybe? Etc. A Google search pulls up a few 'Top 10' type lists of things to do in Beijing, which might be of some use to you.

大块头 Posted March 5, 2018 at 03:58 PM Report Share Posted March 5, 2018 at 03:58 PM If you want to organize a hiking club, maybe you can use www.meetup.com?
889 Posted March 5, 2018 at 04:33 PM Report Share Posted March 5, 2018 at 04:33 PM Websites need to be registered in China, and are subject to regulation. So that might explain why there aren't that many online resources for foreigners in China. Indeed, setting up an organisation of just about any sort is also controlled. Before setting up that hiking club, you should clear it with whatever unit you're affiliated with.
Lu Posted March 5, 2018 at 04:34 PM Report Share Posted March 5, 2018 at 04:34 PM The various expat mags (That's Beijing, the Beijinger, City Weekend, those types) usually have a website. You could look into using those, or buying ad space there.
