Ching Ming - April 5th - within 3 days before or after?

With Ching Ming in a couple of weeks, I'd just like to ask if it was ok to go on Sunday 8th or does it have to be within three days (including the 5th), meaning we'll have to attend on Saturday 7th?

I may sound stupid asking this question but Go where for what on Sunday the 8th?

 

It seems like it is obvious to everyone but me and I am the only who doesn't know but I needed to ask.

Thanks @dwq I had worked that out.

 

I now also think I understand the OPs question, three days before or after means Sunday the 8th is 4 days and will that mean they have missed it or is it still ok.

Just that everything else being equal, it's better to keep inauspicious words off the forum, if possible.
