roddy Posted April 6, 2018 at 07:45 AM Report Share Posted April 6, 2018 at 07:45 AM The actual meanings are pretty simple - here 用 is use, 填 is fill in (as in fill in a form, or I'd guess box or table here? I can't think of any common uses apart from 填表 and 填肚子). What might cause a bit of confusion is the word order, as the verb, 填, sits at the end of the sentence, where you wouldn't usually get it in English. So you've got A: Please ask, this box must use English fill in? B: Yes, This box certainly must use [English] Welcome to the site.
