谢恩灵 Posted July 3, 2018 at 12:34 PM Report Share Posted July 3, 2018 at 12:34 PM Hey everybody, so I just finished a year studying mandarin at Sichuan University and I was recently awarded the CSC scholarship to study masters at 西南财经大学(by the school, final results haven't come out yet). Anyway, I wanted to know if anyone has experience extending a student residence permit and changing the university (my current permit expires end of August so I should have enough time). I know I have to wait a bit to get the visa papers from the school and I already did my medical exam in June so it should be valid when I apply. Just wondering if anyone has any experience on this, how it works, and if its a faster/easier process than changing the visa to residence permit when entering the country for the first time (I want to travel just hesitant to leave the country before I know about this) thanks!!
