Hi everyone,

I am going to get my first tattoo in chinese writing.

But i am not to sure of the translation on some of the words...

What are some good translations for it? I don't want to get it incorrect haha

Strength, Art, Love, Games / or Gamer

强度 / 艺术 / 爱情 / 游戏

Thank you for your help.

Strength... in what sense?

Art... in what sense?

Love... in what sense?

Games... in what sense?

You don't want to get it incorrect, but you're not even sure if you want the English "Games" or "Gamer"...

Think long and hard about this.

Strength in the sense to stay strong, keep my head up cause of my handicap.

Art for my passion, my world and for my artistic side. I love drawing.

Love is for the love of my family, my friends and for the life i have been given.

Games is what got me through most of my years trying to accept what was wrong with me. (my handicap) That is why i put Gamer down.

Hope that helps. Thank you again for the help.

Have you considered getting it done in Thai? The letters are really beautiful, and if you make a mistake with the translation, there will be a much smaller chance that someone will notice.

Have to agree with @Lu what you will end up with is a list of disassociated words that don't make sense together in Chinese and can't be read by any one from your own language.

Especially as this is your first tattoo I would think long and hard about it. Think before you ink and think again and again.

It could turn out to be a big disaster if the tattoo artist knows nothing about how to write Chinese characters which need to be written in a certain way to ensure they read correctly.

As Lu says use your artistic skills to come up with a meaningful piece of art work that represents all the things you wish to express.

Please reconsider.
