Hi,

I don't understand the words order of this sentence, where only 一个 is before 离:

Yīgè               zhè'er      yǒu liǎng gè xiǎoshí       de xiǎo chéngzhèn.

Could someone help me understand it?

Thank you in advanced.

BR,

The sentence is basically: 一个城镇 where the  一个 is operating as a basic measure word.  All the stuff in the middle is just a description of the 城镇.  The best way to understand this is to think of other similar terms which are more simple and more commonly found:

Alternatively, you may wish to take everything after the measure word and before the adjective marker 的 and move it to the start: 离这儿有两个小时的一个城镇.

Hope this helps!  And welcome to the forums!

The [] slot is where the attributive/定语 goes no matter how long how complex. Get it?
