How to work on my listening skill?

Recommended Posts

bobbydeol

Still a beginner but don't want to receive a major shock when I start to consume chinese media so I want to know what shows I should watch to start working on my listening.

Also, since I doubt textbooks are 100% similar to the colloquial chinese, are there any websites/social media/shows/whatever I can go in order to get a hang of the colloquial speech?

When you move past the beginner level, I have higher-level videos I can also recommend.)

I'm sure there are a bunch of people on the forums who have moved past beginner, but can't yet consume regular TV, and are wondering if there is any good video material to watch.  How about you start a thread listing your recommended videos for split by difficulty level?

@NinjaTurtle definitely very interested in further good material. Those initial recommendations were pretty good.

I would also recommend 小猪佩奇. There are lots of episodes on YouTube. It's quite watchable, even as an adult.
