Kafka in Chinese translation

Why would you want to read Kafka in Chinese? The overall quality of literary translation in China is depressingly low. After I realized that, I avoided translated books like the plague.

Thanks I always wondered how about that. It seems like a very difficult task to translate some of the literally classics.

I recommended Steinbecks works to someone but I just couldn't see how it could be translated properly given the high use of colloquial language in his writings. Outstanding  author .

I want to read Kafka and I want to read more books in Chinese.

I think you're probably going to end up with the result of not having read Kafka in a way best accessible to you, and not really having read natural Chinese.
