New Members KeenfrmZA Posted April 10, 2019 at 03:18 PM New Members Report Share Posted April 10, 2019 at 03:18 PM Hello readers! Thank you! I have really enjoyed a lot of the posts and it has really helped. This is my first post and I apologize for repeating this question but I just get lost down a well on some of threads.... I've done HSK 3 and would say I'm mid 4. Want to spend 3 months really (*ff ING) intensively. June-aug. Any suggestions for schools that are good, can provide the visa and have a mix of writing and LOTS of talking. Open to other locations, but I was looking at xiamen, anywhere with good food (chengdu....?). I looked at universities but the time lines are so rigid. All advice will be so much appreciated. Thanks Keen
Shelley Posted April 10, 2019 at 06:08 PM Report Share Posted April 10, 2019 at 06:08 PM I would suggest haveing a look at LTL (Living the Language) here https://ltl-school.com/ I need to clarify that I have written reviews for LTL but other than that I am not affiliated with them. abcdefg Posted April 11, 2019 at 12:29 AM Report Share Posted April 11, 2019 at 12:29 AM Kunming has several private language schools. Good food. Good climate. (Summer, however, is the rainy season.) Use the search function (upper right corner in the laptop edition of the forum) for more information about them.
ChTTay Posted April 11, 2019 at 02:12 PM Report Share Posted April 11, 2019 at 02:12 PM WHY WRITE THE TITLE IN ALL CAPITALS? It just seems like you’re shouting. Like this: ALMOST EVERYWHERE HAS GOOD FOOD. ID LOOK AT LOCAL ACCENT/DIALECT - IS IT STANDARD OR CLOSE TO IT?. THIS IS BECAUSE YOU'VE ONLY GOT THREE MONTHS SO IT MIGHT WASTE SOME TIME DEALING WITH LOCAL DIALECTS. THEN CHECK OUT THE CLIMATE CLIMATE AND THE SCHOOL ITSELF (COST, CLASS SIZE ETC). ?
