After some googling the only thing I can find that seems appropriate is the 'Huayu Enrichment Scholarship' in Taiwan, where you can stay for 3 months. Does something similar exist on the mainland? I would like to do 2 months... The reason I want to do a short stay is because I want to just take a short break from my job, and brush up my Chinese skills (I got an HSK 5 years and years ago, but rarely if ever use Chinese anymore, but quite miss China/Chinese). I'd also like to do some rock-climbing and travelling etc. All the scholarships I can find on the mainland are for a year or more - are there really not any short term ones?!
