Learn Chinese in China

  • Why you should look around

Since 2003, Chinese-forums.com has been helping people learn Chinese faster and get to China sooner. Our members can recommend beginner textbooks, help you out with obscure classical vocabulary, and tell you where to get the best street food in Xi'an. And we're friendly about it too.

Have a look at what's going on, or search for something specific. We hope you'll join us.

Appears not to be hosted anymore, but can be accessed through the wayback machine via the link above. Its pretty simple, old school site, but quick and concise for anyone else that might be looking for a simple way to compare and study the different simplification systems for Chinese characters.

That's a nice resource for sure. There's actually an identical but faster-loading and still-current site here http://dylansung.tripod.com/hanzi/ (I think I linked to it once or twice a few years ago on these forums, and found it just now from a quick Google), but either way it's good to know that valuable stuff like this is being archived.
