I quite like these by Yip Po-Ching and Don Rimmington:

  • Basic Chinese: A Grammar and Workbook (Routledge, 2009)
  • Intermediate Chinese: A Grammar and Workbook (Routledge, 2009)

Also Claudia Ross, Schaum's Outline of Chinese Grammar (McGraw-Hill, 2009)

These all have exercises with answers.

Currently I am studying HSK3, but anyways I just wanted to find a good grammar book with exercises no matter the level. Thank you so much!

I recommend to study the grammar points up to HSK3 and not to worry too much, also to not confuse yourself with additional 语法 which will be introduced in the upper HSK levels together with more vocabulary and ways of 书面,口语 expressions.

Pootling around on the Routledge website when I should really be working, I just noticed a 3rd edition of "Chinese: An Essential Grammar" by the same authors just came out in March 2021.

ebook ISBN: 9781003037606
