New Members Emerson101 Posted November 1, 2020 at 11:00 PM New Members Report Share Posted November 1, 2020 at 11:00 PM Sometime around 2018 I was on a BA flight and saw a Chinese art-house movie with little dialogue, atmospheric, that involved: A single man journeying on a riverboat up the Yellow or Yangtze river Quotes from Lao Tzu, and possible other philosopher poets are interspersed At one point encounters a woman that seems to be from his past who lives near the side of the river, whom he has a tryst with The movie seemed to be about moving backward through time I was exhausted from a long week at work, away from home, and I had dozed off several times while watching the film in spite of being pulled into it.
