我爱我家 2021 Transcription Project

Hi all,

 

I have set up this forum with the aim of transcribing the sit-com 我爱我家 (I Love My Family - 1994).

 

I know there were a few attempts made before on this site and I will add a link to those later on. For now, I just want to get the ball rolling.

 

If anyone is interested in helping with this project, please let me know. Thanks.

I haven't actually gone through them myself but as far as I know the complete transcripts for all 120 episodes are available in the transcription project

if you want to add timestamps and turn them into srt files that would be great to put up too.

Thanks Mark! I actually came here from HiNative and couldn't find anything so that's great!

 

I might work on the srt files and a "cultural reference" guide instead, seeing as most of the heavy lifting has already been done.

If you do make srt files and you want to share them it would be great to make them available and put them up along with the transcripts. I've never made srt's from transcripts but I imagine it's a bit of task.

I recall doing it a couple of years back with some software that made it easy enough. I'll have to do some digging but I think I'll give it a go.
