HSK sign up - Surname first?

Hi there

I have signed up to take the HSK 1 test for the first time in the UK but I just wanted to be clear about something. I have been unsure whether I should input my name with my surname first? Or first and then surname?

The form phrases it as "Please input the surname and first name on your valid certificate" which is why I thought it might be surname first.

Just wondering people who have taken the test how it should be done if you are from the UK and taking the test in the UK.

Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the forums!

You can put your name however you like... I have mine with the surname last on my HSK certificates (whereas all my bank accounts etc in China have my surname first).

They've dealt with enough foreigners over the years to work out how to check names on passports and other IDs I guess.
