Used bookstore in Beijing

Does anyone know of a bookstore in Beijing that buys or trades used English language books? I brought a few books with me and I'd rather sell or give them away than throw them away. I don't intend to haul the 4th Harry Potter all the way back to the U.S., that book is heavy!

The Bookworm just off Sanlitun (not sure if they've moved to their new premises) and the Pass By bar on Nanluoguxiang both have lending libraries, with the Bookworm being the largest.

At the Pass By if you donate 3 books you get a membership card for the library - I'm not sure if they buy or swop stuff, but they have quite nice pizza and pasta anyway. Have no idea about the Bookworm.

There was someone advertising on the thatsbj.com classifieds recently asking for second hand books - might be worth a shot.

The 中国书店 in 东四 buys and sells second hand books, in any language. I'm not sure how much you would get for your books, but you can try.

You mean the store in Haidian Book City, carlo?

There are several branches of 中国书店 around town, a few are in 海淀图书城, but these are smaller and more specialised I think, the one I usually go to for second-hand novels etc is in 东四, from 东四路口 walk south down 东四南大街, the bookshop is on your left hand side (east). There are other 分店 in 和平门、琉璃厂 etc.
