Character typed in IMEI shows different when confirmed

I have found two characters now that when I type them on the chinese keyboard they show up correctly, but then when I press the number to select them, they show up incorrectly in the text.

 

This seems to be only the case in certain applications, like notepad++ because when I try to copy and paste them into this text field here, they are correct.

This is what it looks like in the editor

for 打麻将 or also for 一直

 

Ideas?

Font issue somewhere - those are variants used in - I can't remember. Taiwan, Japan, that kind of thing.

One of your examples (直) is also mentioned in the Text. 

They are language dependent glyphs sharing the same unicode-codepoint.
