I recenly updated my LibreOffice to version 7.1.2.1 (I don't remember which version I had before this, it was much, much older, something version 5 or 6 I think.) Since then, there is a lag when I have the keyboard set to Chinese and type in Roman letters. That makes for very annoying typing. There is no lag when I type characters instead, and also no lag when I type Roman characters in other programs (Firefox, Notepad). It seems to be fine in LibreOffice Calc, strangely. The documents I encounter this in have only plain text (no images) and are not big at all (one to three pages only). There is not even any Chinese in these documents. I have the keyboard set to Chinese for when I want to look up words online. I googled a bit, but nothing seems to come up. Does anyone happen to know how to resolve this?
