The overall plot is similar to Sound of Music - Single dad with 5 kids hires an un pair, they eventually fall in love. It takes place in Taiwan. Main character (un pair) is most likely 林青霞, or maybe 林凤娇. I thought I remembered the movie title to be "春风化雨" but nothing came up in search results for that, I remembered the movie title wrong.
