Signatures and Email

I've disabled the use of bbcode in signatures as various colours, sizes and fonts were distracting from the actual posts. I've also reduced the maximum length of signatures to 200 characters (from 500). Also, please keep signatures to two lines of text maximum.

This will also prevent links in signatures. If you wish to provide a link to your homepage, you can do so in your profile

I'd appreciate it if you could Edit your signature accordingly. In a few days I'll start editing them myself.

I've made it possible for users to recieve email via the forums, but by default this option will be turned off. If you want to turn it on, go here and select the 'Receive Email from Other Members' option. Bear in mind that I have no control over what you get sent.

I've also made some changes to email setting which should mean that mail from this site is less likely to be treated as spam. If anyone notices changes I'd be interested to hear about it.
