Fudan, JiaTong, SISU?

Can I hear from anyone who has studied Mandarin at Fudan, JiaTong or SISU?

What were the classes like?

How much work was required outside of class?

What kind of housing/dormitories were available (if any)?

How were the teachers?

How was the location and what was the general feel of the campus?

I'm planning on enrolling for the Spring 2006 semester and deadlines are very soon (in a couple weeks). Thanks - any information would be greatly appreciated :)

I already partly replied in this thread:

Classrooms are about 20 students max, although many students tend to skip some classes.

Workload depends on you... Will you choose a class a bit easy or a bit hard for you ?

Expect about 2/4 hours per day.

You'll find specific dorm informations on each university's website. It's generally cheaper to rent an appartment out of campus and share it with other students (except for JiaoTong which is in an expensive neighbourhood).

These are top universities (by chinese standards), the teachers are quite good.
