Cheers for that... just a quick and dumb question... it looks like its traditional, is this the case...

Yes, it's traditional characters.

You can first click <圖書大檢閱>, then, click <總書目>, you'll see book titles there. And then, you click any book title to see if you'd like to listen to Cantonese or Chinese.

Hope it helps.:)

Hi -

Thanks for posting that link. I thought I might be able to practise reading, but can't cope with Traditional Chinese. Anyone know any links for online children's books in Simplified Chinese?

You could use Dimsum (http://www.mandarintools.com), ZDT (I think it's got a web browser) Wenlin, or Wakan to browse, and tell it to automatically convert web pages to simplified. I use Dimsum to add Pinyin as well as convert to Simplified.

It looks like just intros to the stories are available.

You have the click the picture where it says 開始閱讀:

I don't like the Cantonese reading style, especially for dialogues and quotes, they didn't convert them to colloquial Cantonese.
