Hahaha, I think 大山 is a bit too popular these days. I was in a bus the other day when 大山 came on. The entire bus turned its head towards the LCD TV and their eyes were just glued to the screen. Heck, even I was interested because he was making jokes about Chinese people asking him question about Canada.

I've been asked about different nationalitie, but (for thematic reasons) only an American will do.

As far as fluency goes, I suppose there are many levels. For me, fluent means someone who is very comfortable speaking the language, and who would be able to express themselves if asked a question.
