What schools do you reccomend to learn Mandarin?

I have had a year and a half of Mandarin at my home university and am checking out schools in China for a semester exchange next year. I mostly want to study Mandarin intensively. BLCU and East China Normal U are the two main schools I have found just looking around on the web, but I wanted to get people's opinions who are in China or have studied there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Xiexie!
