xiaojiang216 32 Report post Posted January 23, 2006 大家好! A neighbor of mine found something written on the bottom of a box. I examined it, and it was indeed Chinese. However, it was written very fast... This is called 草书, correct? How can this be used by means of communication? Is it more for use for oneself? For leaving a note for oneself, for example? I can see how that would work, but how can someone read this? This is what I have deciphered: Can anyone decipher more of it? Thank you very much!

peterwelm 10 Report post Posted January 25, 2006 Quest's result is right. Sometime, we would say 人生如梦,which is orignal from 苏轼的《念奴娇·赤壁怀古》: 大江东去,浪淘尽,千古风流人物。
