  • Why you should look around

Since 2003, Chinese-forums.com has been helping people learn Chinese faster and get to China sooner. Our members can recommend beginner textbooks, help you out with obscure classical vocabulary, and tell you where to get the best street food in Xi'an. And we're friendly about it too.

Have a look at what's going on, or search for something specific. We hope you'll join us.

I have often referrred to shanghaiexpat.com for updated information on where to shop and dine in that city. This is most useful because of the constant changes going on in that metropolis. For example, what may have been the best place to shop for clothes or antiques one day may be torn down or moved to another location within weeks of a posting. Trendy restaurants also come and go and any information that can be provided about excursions beyond the routine travel itinerary is most welcome. I hope beijingexpat.com becomes a useful source of practical information as well as a forum for the talk of the town. Good luck!

Best wishes,

Confucius

Comparing with Shanghaiexpat.com started up more than 2 years ago, Beijing site is only two months old. There is a lot of work to do before this site grow up to be interesting as well as practicle. And it will see a significant development recently. Thanks for your comments and hope you like it.

I posted a fun survey topic in your forum. Hopefully that might prompt some discussion.
