Harbin Bookstores

I've been starting a personal study of Chinese using Pimsleur and New Practical Chinese Reader. I've noticed that the materials can be a little expensive. I'm going to be in Harbin for a couple of weeks soon, does anyone know of any good bookstores there where I could by books for foreigners learning Chinese? I would particularly be interested in buying New Practical Chinese Reader volumes or a good dictionary.

It’s said by Beijing Language and Culture University Press that the following two bookstores are their agents in Harbin, I suppose you can buy New Practical Chinese Reader there.

When I was in Harbin the first on that list was the only place in Harbin to get that type of books - it had a pretty good selection at the time. Bit out of the city though.

Hey thanks for the information! I just returned from Harbin and i was able to pick up the whole series books 2-5, and the CD sets for 1-5 for just over $40 USD. It was right where your directins said.
