foolip Posted May 22, 2006 at 08:34 PM Report Share Posted May 22, 2006 at 08:34 PM I sent my application to BLCU last week, applying for the 1-year chinese language program. As the application deadline is June 30, I would really like to be certain that everything is in order (like my application wasn't lost in the mail or whatever) well before that date. I know that a reply is to come within two months, but should I expect a confirmation by email (as that was part of the application)? Experiences from previous applicants much appreciated! I'll be posting my adventures on my blog: http://foolip.org (china category)
redpixel Posted May 25, 2006 at 11:55 PM Report Share Posted May 25, 2006 at 11:55 PM No, no e-mail notification will be sent. The reply will be sent as registered mail and it might take more or less the full 2 months. Don't worry, however, since you're pretty much guaranteed to get in provided that you applied this early. foolip Posted May 26, 2006 at 10:04 AM Author Report Share Posted May 26, 2006 at 10:04 AM Thanks for that info redpixel. My only worry is that stuff gets lost in the mail, as that's happened to me before. But at least I know not to expect any email then.
