Their website is pretty confusing and I speak no mandarin..so i was just wondering a few things. they list prices of double rooms, but do they also charge per person ? There seems to be some weirdly worded talk about kids being free, so im assuming each adult pays additional, separate fees. Also, since I hear that China is all about bargaining...I'm assuming that actual prices should be significantly cheaper than the Internet prices if paid upfront. Does anyone know what I should be expecting to pay if I'm planning to stay a month with a roomate at the hotel? Preferably, we would not want to pay more than 500 USD a month per person but i hear the SAC and Conference Center are fully booked and I dont know anything (esp. pricewise) about the MengXi hotel. Can anyone provide me with more info... that would greatly put me at some ease since I have no clue what to do about housing. 1.) we are only staying for a month, 2.) there are two of us, and 3.) the dorms sound a little scary since its so haphazardly distributed... we're afraid we might not get one or even if we do, we dont want to end up with the squatting toilet deal. we sent in our apps about 2 weeks ago for the July 27th 4 week program and we're still waiting on that.. but the worrying about housing or even when and if we'll get accepted is starting to get to my paranoid self. i hope they accept everyone who applies... or have people actually been rejected? I'm from the UK but i'm studying the US right now so i had to know when the forms were going to arrive so i could make sure i can visit the embassy sometime. So they said they sent them, but i cant confirm that yet. As for accomodation i've just started looking! I dont have a clue where to stay. Anyone got any help? I've got a friend in Beijing so i'm thinking of staying with him and just finding somewhere. That sound like a bad plan? Thanks!
