prevx Posted June 29, 2006 at 05:45 AM Report Share Posted June 29, 2006 at 05:45 AM Have you guys ever heard songs by somebody called Liu Jia Cheng? He was famous in HK around 1970s with some nice songs, but I can't find anything on him - even nothing on YesAsia.
skylee Posted July 9, 2006 at 02:40 AM Report Share Posted July 9, 2006 at 02:40 AM He was not just famous in Hong Kong but also in Taiwan. The Chinese name is 劉家昌 and the hanyu pinyin is Liu Jia Chang (note that it is an "a" not an "e"). But since he was active in Taiwan/HK the transliteration used on the internet may not be standard hanyu pinyin (such as Liu Chia Chang / Lau Ka Cheong) Here is what you could find on this artist on yesasia -> http://global.yesasia.com/en/artIdxDept.aspx/code-c/section-music/aid-17443/
