French equivalent of chinese-forums

Before I go on a wild goose chase for a friend, I was wondering if anyone knew of a analogous site like chinese-forums, except for French. This friend was interested to hear that I was able to practice Chinese by watching videos (Think Chinese Style Divorce). She is not that internet savy, but I thought I would try to point her to a site like this where she could get help.

I haven't actually tried surfing or googling french-forums.com. I guess that's the next step.

I know one french forum for people wanting to study french. However, i think it is not as interesting as chinese-forums, you don't have so much topics and threads are not going very far.
