Is absinthe (苦艾 ??) available in China? I've tried asking liquor store clerks, but only get a confused look and 'mei you'. I don't know if its banned, or if they just don't carry it? Does anyone know where to purchase it?

I'd heard a similar thing about people getting drunk, rowdy and swearing a lot: absinthe makes the argot stronger.
