I am considering applying for a CIS scholarship to study here for 6 months. My main reason for studying here is that its 5 (or so) subway stops from my friend's house who has offered an exchange homestay deal. I get 6 months in sunny Guangzhou in exchange for him spending 6 months in sunny Australia. However, if the university is not of a high standard I will live in dormitory accomodation in another city at a better university.
