tooironic Posted October 19, 2012 at 01:16 PM Report Share Posted October 19, 2012 at 01:16 PM Is there any difference between 觉得 and 觉着? My understanding is the latter is a lesson common (possibly non-standard?) colloquial variant that Northerners tend to use from time to time. What is everyone's thoughts? Daan Posted October 19, 2012 at 07:01 PM Report Share Posted October 19, 2012 at 07:01 PM Interesting. I'd never heard 觉着 but you see it in Weibo messages from all over China: http://lwc.daanvanesch.nl/worddetails.php?id=25586 Admittedly, it's not very common (160 hits), but still. Flying Pigeon Posted October 20, 2012 at 10:47 AM Report Share Posted October 20, 2012 at 10:47 AM The host of this show says it a lot: http://www.soku.com/t/nisearch/谁在说/ My teacher said it's colloquial. Not sure if it's a Northerner thang. I prefer it to 觉的.

New Members Ken Lin Posted October 21, 2012 at 03:53 PM New Members Report Share Posted October 21, 2012 at 03:53 PM I'm Taiwanese, and I've never heard "觉着" before. It probably is only used in Mainland as colloquial.
