LiLiKe Posted March 2, 2005 at 05:32 AM Report Share Posted March 2, 2005 at 05:32 AM Hi everyone! Ok so here is my problem: I love my life here in china, but since I am a vegetarian it is hard to get hold of nutritious (food, since my Chinese is still pretty weak. I am now at a point where I have lost 20 pounds in 6 months, and I was by no means a big man before (now I am down to 130 pounds, arghhh). I would be very glad if someone could list a few common vegetarian dishes for me so that I do not have to order the same thing every time I am at a restaurant (xihongshijidan, maladofu). If anyone could list the Chinese names of different vegetables that are used for cocking that would also be very helpful. And finally a question, does anyone know a good site that is dedicated to Chinese cooking. Where one could look up dishes that you actually can buy the things you need to make them. Thanks in advance! Erik
