Help me understand these sentences

In working on a translation for Princess Iron Fan, I've come across a few sentences that I'm not sure how to interpret. I hope you can help. If you need more context, please see http://foolip.org/wiki/Princess_Iron_Fan/subtitles (and of course feel free to edit it directly to fix any problems you find).

1. Does "这儿有一千里的路" mean that this place is 1000 miles away?

2. What is the last line supposed to mean? 播种收割 means to sow and to reap, but it doesn't make much sense to sow AND reap when the rain comes!

As Sandy speaks these words the lady gets angry. Is there some hidden meaning in these words that I'm missing? Might it mean that the Great Sage wants to marry the princess (pronounciation similar).

Princess:

Monkey:

What does 令郎已成正果 mean? It appears again later:

Pig:

When Monkey discovers he has been tricked by the Princess he says Does this mean that it's a pity that he didn't kill her, that he wants to kill her or something else?

Foxy lady:

Bull:

Foxy lady:

What does 这种草婆子 mean? I supose it has nothing to do with grass...

Does 早晚来了抓着他,让我们夫妻出出恨 mean "I'll get him sooner or later, so that we can be at rest"? What is 出恨 supposed to mean? If it weren't for the context I'd guess it just means to hate, but that doesn't fit in.

What does 当心 in 当心给他们骗了去 mean? To be careful?

Finally what ever could 我老猪也有今朝 mean? It's sung by Pig as he has successfully tricked a fan from Princess.

1.(離)這兒有一千里的路 means the princess is 1000 miles away from here

2.播種收割 basically I think it compresses the whole agricultural activty and the same

time emphasize the sowing when the rain comes.

sorry, no idea without reading the whole section.

Princess:

Monkey:

What does 令郎已成正果 mean? It appears again later:

Pig:

因果(relation of causes to result)

buddhist seeks for knowing clearly the relation of causes to result(因果)

The concept of relation of causes to result also affects daoism, people

always say how you sow and how you reap.

成正果 means a man sees through the relation and gets the right result

,then he leaves the world to the buddhahood.

令郎已成正果 actually means your son is dead in a euphemistical way

and even in a sarcastic way.

When Monkey discovers he has been tricked by the Princess he says Does this mean that it's a pity that he didn't kill her, that he wants to kill her or something else?

我非杀了她不可 means I must kill her !

不可 The sentence is double negtive, thus it means to have to strongly.

Foxy lady:

Bull:

Foxy lady:

What does 这种草婆子 mean? I supose it has nothing to do with grass...

草婆子 means a rural lady and of course she is not civilized.

You can also see other words like "鄉下婆子"" 草包 "

It's a bad word to insult rural people, huh?

Does 早晚来了抓着他,让我们夫妻出出恨 mean "I'll get him sooner or later, so that we can be at rest"? What is 出恨 supposed to mean? If it weren't for the context I'd guess it just means to hate, but that doesn't fit in.

It means to take out the resentment.

What does 当心 in 当心给他们骗了去 mean? To be careful?

Yes, it means to be careful.

Finally what ever could 我老猪也有今朝 mean? It's sung by Pig as he has successfully tricked a fan from Princess.

It means even Pig could have the successful moment.

People always say "你也會有今天啊" "想不到我也有今天".

It doesn't necessarrily mean good circumstence, you have to tell it's good or bad

from the whole conversation.

Sorry, my english ability isn't good, hope people could understand what I say.

I think 成正果 here means that the son in the story has got a bright future.

ex: when Jesus Christ died, then he became the god,we also can say Jesus Christ 成正果

I can not express myself very well.

BTW,this is my first post.

THX for reading.

I am sorry. ljq007 is right.

I was wrong about the explantion regarding "令郎已成正果"

When monkey said that, it was not sarcasm.

On the contrary, monkey really meant it.

紅孩兒 was beaten by 觀音, and finally he became a follower of 觀音.

In the view of monkey, 紅孩兒 really went to the buddhahood but not dead.

Ha, I am not familiar with the novel. I only read 50 chapters when I was young.

Does anyone know who this Red Child (红孩儿) is and when he was beaten by Sun Wukong? I'm not too familiar with the story at large. In the movie there is a fire monster in the mountain that chases Sun Wukong -- is this Red Child? I think not, because he wasn't defeated. Most importantly, did Sun Wukong kill Red Child, or what caused him to join the Goddess of Mercy?

I just consulted the novel.

Here is some brief about Red Child.

Red Child is Bull King(牛魔王) and Princess's(鐵扇公主) son.

He has a skill to spit out samadhi fire(三昧真火) from his mouth.

Red Child also took Monkey's shifu during the journey.

The fire was so fierce, even Monkey got his ass kicked.

In order to rescue shifu, Monkey asked Goddess of Mercy for help.

Goddess of Mercy easily defeated Red Child, and took him in as

her acolyte to tame his evilness.

That happened before monkey met bull and princess in flame mountain.
