Pirate Lonely Planets in Beijing

As a poor student I am wondering if anyone knows any places in Beijing particularly well-known for selling.. uh.. fake books?

Trying to get copies of "Lonely Planet" or "Rough Guide"...

I've seen them being sold everywhere in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam when I was traveling, havent really seen them in Beijing though..

hmmm.... not really sure. I know the real ones are sold at The Bookworm $$$$ but they do have a library-cafe where you can sit and have a look for as long as you please.

The reason you probably don't see them in Beijing is that I would bet 99% are on the internet. You just need to find the pdf and/or bittorrent. To get a paper copy just save it on the USB key and take it to the local photocopy person at any corner.

Never saw any while I was living in Beijing, and that inclines me to think they don't exist. Assuming you're looking for the China / Beijing one, stick a note up in a few hostels offering to buy one from tourists on their way home.
