As to the song, I think anyone who travels like this is either looking for something or trying to forget or abandon something. Sigh. Let's see. He travels to California, and Kyushu, London, Easter Island, Paris, and Tokyo. He seems so successful in forgetting and recovering. And then when he returns to Taiwan, he breaks down again and is afraid that s/he would know about it. All he can do is say again that he has already forgotten the whole thing. Sigh.
