This is to document my Chinese learning.
A little about me. Studying Chinese for 8 years intensively, 225 HSK 6 in 2018. Chinese is my hobby, and a never ending journey. I really need to do more output, but this month I am focusing on input, and next month I will focus on output. Input is just so much more convenient to do.
Each month I give myself a challenge. This month is to watch one episode of 非正式会谈 on bilibili every day (31 episodes, for 31 days). I also write down all of the vocab/sentences that I think are worth looking back at later and studying. I track all this in a google sheet (you can view here if interested..kinda a mess). Today is July 14, I am a little behind as I have only finished 9 episodes so far. I will have a long flight from Thailand to US at end of month I plan to catch up any deficit I have at that point.
I am not spending any time reviewing the new words and phrases. I plan to spend time next month (August) doing output, and part of that is using all of these words and sentences to write content. Here are some sentences/words I wrote down from the past couple episodes. (Note, I not only write down words I don't know, but also words I know/understand, just likely wouldn't be so natural to spit them out in 口语, so I write them down to get more comfortable. I would say 80% of the words I write down I understood from the beginning, the others are likely new 成语 or words/slang.
