There's been some issues with posting recently. I got a blank after my post and had to re-write it.

For "陪你喝一杯", I added the [one cup]. However, I guess the meaning is just "I'll drink with you" instead of literally "I'll drink a cup with you"?

Also what is the figurative meaning of "开放的花蕊"? Is it saying that the guy is supposed to be happy because he's starting anew (after the breakup)? This is where I run into problems with song translations.

@jkhsu: Could you connect the sentence fragments into their respective lines?

For example, put "I want good" and "wine with coffee added" into a single line (it's clear from listening to the song that they go together).

"I'll drink a cup with you" hews closer to the original meaning. This was a small mistake on my part.

As for the figurative meaning, I think it's best for the translator to do a direct, literal translation, thereby letting the reader decide on the figurative meaning. My personal interpretation is that she's looking at morning dew drops that have collected on a blooming flower. She sees them because she's just left the bar where she spent the entire night drinking.
