Is that fake dry pig face? I've seen the real stuff, but it never occurred to me that supermarkets would want fake ones to hang up like demented wax fruit...

What makes you think it's fake?

Maybe it's just the lighting, but it looks rubbery in the photo... I've attached a photo of some pig face I've seen.
