floressas Posted August 29, 2006 at 08:49 PM Report Share Posted August 29, 2006 at 08:49 PM hello, i'm planning to study mandarin at the BLCU in 2007, and i'm now about to send in all the required documents. there is one thing i don't understand though; in one section of the BLCU homepage they tells you to send your original passport, but on the application-document you print out to send to china, it says that a photocopy of your passport is enough. anyone knows wheter i should send my original passport or just a copy, because this guys don't seems so fond of replaying your e-mail either thanks in advance
danier11 Posted August 29, 2006 at 08:55 PM Report Share Posted August 29, 2006 at 08:55 PM A photocopy is enough for them. I am going to BLCU in 2 weeks and that is what I used to get in. It's really easy to get into BLCU in my experience. Good luck.
lalibela Posted August 30, 2006 at 02:08 AM Report Share Posted August 30, 2006 at 02:08 AM A copy is enough. That´s what I sent and it worked, I am now nearly finished with all the "registering process"... Good luck!!!

redpixel Posted August 30, 2006 at 07:53 PM Report Share Posted August 30, 2006 at 07:53 PM No, you pay a $50 application fee by bank transfer. I think a copy of the receipt should be sent with your application. Return postage is included in this fee.
