Ipod Accessories in Beijing

Hi there, does anyone know of anyplace where I could find Ipod accessories in Beijing? Specifically something like this, a speaker system where I can dock my Ipod and have it charge at the same time as it is playing. Thanks.

Where are you at in town? There is a huge electronics place near where I live in Hai Dian, it's right across the street from the Carrefour and this big shopping mall.....it's like four stories and has big advertisements for electronic brands on the outside. Our Chinese friend called it "Computer City" in English, not sure what it's called in Chinese. I actually haven't been in but my bf did and said they have everything. I was actually gonna go there to buy an ipod dock as well lol.

That area is called Zhongguancun. There are two big electronics malls on either side of the road -- one of which, if memory serves me correctly, actually contains an official apple dealer.

There's also a store that sells ipod accessories etc in Oriental Plaza on Wangfujing.

Yeah there is an ipod dealer there, I remeber seeing huge ads for it on the building.

Try 中关村电子城 [zhōngguāncūndiànzǐchéng].

There is also Hailongdasha, I think, 海龙大厦, right in that area, but if memory servies me right you can just go to Carrefour who had one or two. It's a good option, next to the apple store, if you don't feel much like bargaining...

Thanks for the quick answers! This forum is a lifesaver. I'm going to be living at the Beijing Foreign Students Activities Center for week, then I will either be moving into an apartment in wudaokou, or staying on campus at Tsinghua. Regardless, Zhongguancun is close to all of the above, so I will check it out.
