I don't know about everywhere else but in Shanghai they are refurbishing buildings, tearing down buildings, and otherwise doing heavy contruction at a feverish pace. I swear every house hold has a compressor and a jack hammer. So with all that rebuilding going on I'm wondering about the dangers of asbestos. Also, how would you write asbestos in Chinese. If so (I'm not totally sure) southern China should br fairly safe. I've only come across one properly insulated room (not even a whole building). So with all that rebuilding going on I'm wondering about the dangers of asbestos. if you are sensitive to this particle, carry a face mask. i look like darth vader when i do energy audits in some steel mills... because treating lung cancer in china is tough....
