i cant login either. i got my QQ from the site mentioned above, the english version. i always get server unreachable or something like that.

I use QQ for a year now. Still English Xp home. No problem here. Sure, it's badly designed, as everything in/from China. Specially annoying are the chatroom QQ is selling room-ID to Sex Spam which you can't block. So sometimes 50-80% of messages are Sex related, asking you to visit some web sites. They also got annoying word block filter. Currently i.e. you can not use the word "hat" in the rooms for whatever reason.

Login should be no problem though. Are you behind a router or firewall? That's usually where the login problems come from.

I downloaded QQ about a week ago, and wow, the registration is a serious pain. qq.bur.st was a real help. I did notice though, that after trying to sign in, I would get disconnected and given an error message. Along with the message was a URL to follow where you had to put in the answers to your secret questions. Hopefully you used real answers, not just random keymashes like I did the first time. Anyway, after that, I never had a problem signing in. I guess after you register, you need to prove you registered. Seems like an extra and pointless step. Hope this helps you
