I'll be heading to the Chengdu area soon. Does anybody know information or links on sport fishing in China? Do they flyfish there? What kinds of sport fish exist there? ie: trout, bass, pike,walleye, ect. ect.? Are there native brook trout in the mountain streams? Do I pack my flyrod or not? I doubt whether there are any rivers clean enough to find any trout lurking..... I could be wrong though. Possibly further up nearer the source. Actually I entered "trout fishing in china" into Google and came up with quite a few. You might be in luck although I did not look at the sites found.
