Hero Doug Posted November 18, 2006 at 04:29 AM Report Share Posted November 18, 2006 at 04:29 AM A friend of mine paid about 3000 RMB for his first scooter which didn't have much go. It was stolen and he bought another which was also 3000 RMB and it went quite quick, he said around 70kph. It was also stolen. These weren't the bikes with the moters though, they were actual scooters.
liuzhou Posted November 18, 2006 at 05:44 AM Report Share Posted November 18, 2006 at 05:44 AM Not sure about price range. You recharge them by plugging into a power socket! By the number of people I see pushing them home, it seems many people haven't worked this out yet. You don't need a licence, but life insurance is advisable. According to the traffic department here, one third of all accidents involve electric scooters.
