The price isn't actually that great, though; you can get a 1 GB from Newegg for $17.50 including shipping, and a 2 GB for just $25 with free shipping - see http://dealnews.com/memory/prices/Secure-Digital-SD/30/1GB.html for a long list of vendors and prices. A 4 GB card probably won't work on your Zire 71, so I'd stick with 2 GB or less, but 2 GB should work fine and of course 1 GB should too.
